Rastogi – "Do you even know about the Character Multiverse?".
Me – "No!".
Rastogi (screaming) - "Lady, where are you lost? Aren't you the blogger who blogs about TLB?".
Me (confused) - "Yes...I mean, I am the blogger who covers TLB's major events."
Rastogi (disappointed) - "What blogger you are? No current updates. No clue what's happening in your own digital city. And yet you claim to be the blogger? Huh." (sighs)
Me (grumpily) - "Hey! Who even are you? And what's with the attitude and taunt?"
Rastogi - "I am Rastogi. A character from The Sugarlake Tragedy. I am stuck in this city - lost. Thought you guide me through the city. Clearly, I was wrong. I miss Mr. Beagle already" (looks away, sad).
Me (shocked) - "Wait... What?! Rastogi from TST? What chaos in the city?".
Rastogi - "See? Told you. You have zero clue what's going on in your own so-called city, Miss Blogger."
Me (awkwardly) - "No! I mean... it's not like that!"
Rastogi - "Probably, you don't even know about the parallel universe concept. Or that a bunch of bookish characters are stuck in the TLB Character Multiverse.”
Me (jaw dropped) - "Parallel universe... character multiverse... Rastogi standing in front of me... other book characters wandering the city—oh god, the chaos.”
Rastogi (sighing) - “You keep processing. I’m off to find a way out of this madness. Bye, Miss Blogger.”
And that’s how I bumped into Rastogi — just casually roaming the TLB City.
Scoop of the season?
Not even close.
Turns out, Rastogi was one of the Bookstagrammers in the TLB Authors Reality Show — Season 3.

Week 1 — Goal & Purpose
TLB Authors Reality Show — Season 2 Runner up: Author L. Venkata Subramaniam heated up the show with his rapid questions to the participating authors of Season 3 — Week 1.
Author L Venkata to Author Shipra (Cords of Concealed Heart) —
Your goal is pure entertainment, how do you go beyond that and offer deeper meaning. How would you respond to someone who says your book lacks a strong social or emotional impact? Or is that not even your goal as your focus is pure entertainment?
Author Shipra replied —
By saying that my book is only for entertainment, I don’t mean it lacks emotional depth. It has many emotions that will feel like riding in an emotional rollercoaster. Because I am first a reader myself then a writer. I have edited it multiple times until I found satisfaction throughout the journey of this story. And to be honest, I always liked the story even after reading it many times. So I can be sure that you will definitely love it, not only the ending but overall journey.
There were many moments which made me surprised and emotional.
From the first chapter, I had been feeling goosebumps while writing an incident there.
Though I knew the story from the beginning, the way it emerged on paper was surprising.
Week 2 — Main Character Showdown
Let’s resume!
Earlier I pinpointed Live Readers ate up brain of the AUTHORS this time… Aren’t you HUNGRY? Hehehe… It’s time for the MEAL.
When Live Readers Brainstorm: The Characters Come Alive at TLB’s Authors Reality Show
In the heart of Week 2 at the TLB Authors Reality Show, something magical happened. The live readers became part of the storytelling. During a spirited brainstorm session, they explored the characters our authors have crafted. They asked tough and thoughtful questions. These questions peeled back the layers of every protagonist, sidekick, and hidden hero.
It all kicked off with a spark from Prerana. She asked the authors: “If your characters don’t match your own personality, how do you still meet readers’ expectations?“ The responses were as raw and real as they come. Authors crafted corporate go-getters. They also created emotionally layered protagonists. Our authors rated their confidence (and courage) on a scale of 1 to 10. Spoiler alert: Some proudly claimed a perfect 10, after years of polishing every nuance of their characters!
But the real heat came with the next questions:
Can their main characters attract a male audience? Can Personality alone hook a reader without relying on the plot?
The answers revealed the emotional core of each book. Author Renuka introduced Adi and Gautam. They are young men at the cusp of thrilling careers. Another author shared the touching evolution of Rajiv. He is a devoted father whose sacrifices for his family would tug at any reader’s heart.
Prerana wasn’t done yet. She posed a brilliant twist: “How do you stop different books from feeling like reruns of the same characters?”
The authors’ replies were refreshingly honest. Environments occasionally echo across stories. But, characters stay as distinct as fingerprints. “I can’t recreate Ira or Adhijay elsewhere,” author Shipra smiled. “They belong to their own world.“
Then came the heartfelt part of the brainstorm.
When asked about the value their characters brought to readers, the responses turned deeply emotional. Ira, a young girl facing loss and betrayal yet choosing hope — became a symbol of resilience. Another author pointed to a character whose blunt honesty teaches that the world isn’t always kind to the truthful. But, loyalty and hard work always find their reward.
Last but not least,
An important question was posed:
“What would you say to convince someone who doesn’t know you to read your book?“
The answers were passionate. Author Shipra promised a slow-burn romance packed with laughter, betrayal, and hidden secrets. Author Shashank emphasized that his book featured specially-abled children. It is proudly recommended to any generation..
And what a dramatic week it was! After heartfelt sharing and thoughtful debates, the votes were tallied:
🏆 Author Shipra soared to the top. Unfortunately, Author Shashank was eliminated. But, he received heartfelt praise for the warmth and uniqueness his story brought to the show.
Week 3 Book Cover Presentation
When Live Bookstagrammers Took the Stage – And Tore the Authors Apart!
Week 3 of the TLB Authors Reality Show will forever be remembered. It was the week when soft book covers met sharp tongues. The Live Bookstagrammers didn’t hold back!
It all began innocently enough. The three brave authors — Shipra, Sohini, and Renuka — were asked to critique each other’s book covers. Sounds simple, right? But no. The twist? Votes depended on it. 👀
(And if you know anything about the TLB literary arena, you know Bookstagrammers live for a little good-nature chaos.)
The Task
“Say one good and one bad thing about each other’s covers.“
Sounds fair? Sure.
But under the gentle nudge (read: evil laughter) of the moderators, the bookstagrammers turned polite comments into polished critiques.
The Showdown Highlights
Click & know…
- Shipra’s cover — Cords of a Concealed Heart — earned a lot of love for its serene color palette. The clean design was greatly appreciated. There was also an emotional touch of a hidden guitar. The abstract, calm vibe pulled readers in.
- But the Bookstagrammer critics sharpened their pencils:
🖋 “Is it ‘cords’ or ‘chords’?! It’s confusing!”
🖋 “The guitar should be clearer. Right now, it feels hidden in a bad way.”
🖋 “Where’s the emotional punch? It’s too subtle.” - Renuka and Sohini, too, weren’t spared. Covers were called “pleasant but generic”, “missing bold elements”, and “needing stronger visual storytelling.”

Friendships were tested. 😂 Confidence was shaken. But ultimately — art grew sharper, and so did the authors.
Bookstagrammers’ Secret Wish?
Old participants from earlier seasons spoke up. They teased this batch of contestants for being “too soft.” This was in contrast to earlier seasons where authors practically dueled with their critiques.
(“We were ready to kill each other back then!”, joked Author Swamini Chopra-Salame.)
The demand was clear:
⚔️ More fire. More fights. More unforgettable moments.
The Final Verdict of Week 3:
Tap here!
- Author Shipra secured the highest votes with a powerful lead!
- Sadly, Author Renuka had to bid farewell to the competition. She won hearts with her engaging spirit and warm interactions.
(Many are already eagerly waiting for her book! )
Closing Thought:
This week proved one thing loud and clear —
In the TLB Authors Reality Show, it’s not enough to write a good book. You must do more than that. You must defend your book. Fight for it. Sometimes, you even have to survive Live Bookstagrammers Battle! 💥📚
Stay tuned — the real drama is just getting started!
Week 4: The Grand Debate — Drama, Depth, and Heartfelt Fireworks!
Week 4 of the TLB Authors Reality Show wasn’t just heated — it was an emotional rollercoaster!
As we stepped into The Grand Debate, two authors stood toe-to-toe. They weren’t just fighting for the audience’s vote. They were fighting for the soul of their stories.
And let’s be clear: this wasn’t a polite exchange of compliments. It was an honest, raw, and sometimes painfully real face-off.
Safe Zone Announced — And A Wave of Eliminations
Before the debate began, the week opened with a huge shakeup:
- 6 Bookstagrammers secured their safe zone seats ️
- Roshni, Nupur, Riya were eliminated for not voting
- Author Ruchi got eliminated for late voting
- Harsha (linked to an eliminated author) had to exit as well.
Result? Tension. Anxiety. And a new level of urgency.
The stakes were higher than ever.
The Debate Heats Up: Cords of a Concealed Heart vs Hidden Narrative
With everything on the line, Author Shipra and Author Sohini came ready to fight for their books. Yet, what unfolded wasn’t just a pitch. It became an intense battle of philosophies.
Author Sohini challenged:
“Can emotional depth alone truly leave a lasting impact, or does it risk becoming just a fleeting experience?”
Shipra fired back with elegance:
“Cords of a Concealed Heart isn’t about answers. It explores reflections. It’s about making readers feel seen even without tying everything up neatly.”
She stood by her belief that indirect emotional storytelling, when done right, lingers longer than spoon-fed lessons.
But Sohini wasn’t done.
She asked powerful questions that hit hard. She wondered if open-ended struggles leave vulnerable readers even more lost. They feel more lost rather than healed?
A risky, emotional gamble for sure.
Real Emotions, Real Stakes
Both authors revealed something beautiful:
- AuthorShipra confessed how deeply connected she is to her characters, almost as if she’s lived their lives herself.
- AuthorSohini opened up about the vulnerability of writing poetry. She draws directly from personal pain. It takes courage to bleed on the page for readers to see.
This wasn’t just about two books anymore.
It became about two journeys.
Two forms of emotional healing — one layered through storytelling, one pierced directly through poetry.
Audience Polls & Final Voting
And then came the final call:
- Saturday night, audience polls exploded with excitement.
- Sunday night, every vote counted — every emotion invested.
No second winners this time.
Only one author would walk away crowned:
Winner of TLB Reality Show Season 3 and earn a special spotlight in The Digital City!

Why Season 3 Will Be Remembered
Because it wasn’t just about winning.
It was about standing vulnerable.
It was about baring your soul.
It was about making your story — whether through hidden wounds or whispered poetry — impossible to forget.
Drama? ✅
Debate? ✅
Heart? ✅✅✅
The show never forgets AUTHORS, BOOKSTAGRAMMERS and READERS even if you were part of the show for once. Earlier season authors engraved their names in the hearts of the bookstagrammers with their love, stories and passion for literature. Bookstagrammers also remembered by authors for their lively interactions and craziest activities and challenges (Even, if authors whispered them as “EVIL BOOKSTA!” ).
TLB Authors Reality Show Week 4 wasn’t just a competition — it was literary history in the making.
